145 EAST 22ND STREET
Architect: George G. Miller
1939-40

No. 145

This symmetrically massed Colonial Revival apartment house is divided into two sections, each with an unusual pedimented roofline. At street level the sections are joined together by the entranceway with its handsome Colonial-inspired enframement with broken segmental-arched pediment and its doors crowned by a leaded transom. The red brick building was planned to house 47 families on six floors.
